The hands down style, trying to throw punches from the hip only works for the elite. Would rather see Damian Hooper with a tighter guard and employing more of tried and true fundamentals. This would still allow for some fair on his part, but would make him much harder to tag.

 

i think he should stick with the amateurs for one more olympic games. fark the pros, its worse than the amateurs. if he wins gold he will never have to turn pro.

Iv'e watched sport for ****ing decades and the opinion i'm begining to form is there are no bigger whingers and whiners than the Aussies when things ain't going right for you , **** sake lads you are an amazing country on a lot of fronts (sport being one of them ) so stop ****ing moaning about refs etc sure there are some stupid decision and robberies going on but you all act like it's never happened before , now i guess i will get all the silly ****s like Tc and the idiot general Sallywinder arsehole show up crying about training for four years only to get ****ed over , Deal with it and hold your head up lads you can't win all the time . :deal

 

Sadly Josey i agree mate 30yrs + ago this country loved being the underdog and we respected everybody whether it was sporting or business or scoial....... Australian now in general are big heads, this is not only in sport but in life in general. Just look at that wanker wide open anus the way he talks about how great the weather is and the UK is a shithole etc etc...... gen y in Australia are ****s..... actually i hatye most Australians these days. We certainly have a chip on our shoulders.

 

Growing up close to Cardiff arms park Kel iv'e drunk with plenty of Australian rugby fans for well over 30 years mate and seriously i have seen the physical change in them as well , years ago they were mostly tough hard as **** sort of fellers who were fanatical about their 15 but in general respectful to everyone and their surroundings , not so these days they all seem 20-30 something and their heads are as big as their fat arses .

 

Clearly u didnt read the article or watch the footage, not to mention that the decision was over turned and didnt involve ANY aussie boxers, it was Japan vs Azerbaijan. atsch.. even Teddy Atlas commented about it, just watch the footage and pull your head out of the sand for once Josey
