Bitter old men? lol ur the old karnt who dont give a fck. half the reason boxing is on the decline and some consider it a joke is because of so called fans like you who dont give a rats ass when the sport is bought into disrepute

Come on Josey bit unfair to call Aussies whiners and fat,and so on,a lot are and so are a lot of British.
Brits are having a fantastic olympics and good on them,were having a not so great time,but the Aussie spirit will rebound just like you all did.

 

he isnt being a critic, he just doesnt give a fck about corruption within the sport. To call yourself a boxing fan and not give a fck about corrupt officals is just wrong. how else would you explain it? he isnt being constructive or even putting up any debate, as far as he is concern im an old bitter man who just likes to bch about nothing. Yet ive clearly shown evidence that would support i am not alone in voicing my concerns with the corruption thats been put on display at the London games and the olympics full stop. Its been going on for yrs and needs to be put to a stop once and for all.

Tye cant say i really follow am boxing,even when i was one,which was a long time ago,but that fight with the jap was disgracefull.and they deffinetly need to go to electronic scoring.But i do hope Australia will win a gold in the mens boxing before i die of old age.

 

If you spent the amount of time, energy and research you do on this forum and channeled it into doing something about the corruption in this sport. Become a boxing judge or ref SOMETHING

Electronic scoring is the push button system isnt it? they need to have software that takes away the human element and scores it based on computer image/footage software or put sensors in the headguards, gloves and singlets. And i hope to see an aussie win gold before i die of old age also lol , cant understand why we havent won gold yet but with all the corruption in boxing it does make some sense, best solution is to take it out of the judges hands and Knock the opponent out but thats very rare in amateur boxing at that level.

One person cant make change, it has to be a collective response, thus i get so pissed with fans like Josey who simply dont give 2 fcks, with that kinda attitude nothing will change. Not just that but why would i want to join a system that is already corrupt? it needs a complete over haul and its not a one man job. AIBA is a boys club, to fix it up you have to tear it down and build it again into something that is transparent and not able to be corrupted by bribes and or host nations.

 

The same goes with pro boxing. In saying that. I am looking at becoming a pro judge myself if everyone who loves boxing and hates the corruprion should become proactive and do something people power.

 

Good luck with that Crusher but you will probably find it's a closed shop mate for obvious reasons .

 

The pros arent so bad in terms of corruption with officals, the corruption at the pro level stems from missmatches and the people who match these fights NOT being held accountable imo. Whats fcked pro boxing up the most is all these bullsht titles that have diluted the sport, yes there is the odd corrupt offical here and there but imo its not as rampant as it is in the amateurs, the pros have more sharks than corrupt officals.
