Prime Riddick Bowe (of Holyfield Fight) vs Current Wladimir kLitschko?

Waldo was never holding back with power punches when someone tried to put pressure on him. Peter, Brewster, Mercer, Chagaev etc.. Waldo getting gun shy under pressure really is a myth, where he sticked to jabbing and bored the **** out of everyone was in his fights with Haye, Ibragimov, Rahman who basically didn't do anything themselves whlie Wlad was unwilling to lead the action

He displays a great variety of skills against holyfield, dokes, garcia and hide. He demonstrates a top chin and heart against golota.

To call Bowe ****, I must conclude that you haven't seen much of him.

well to be honest he should be showing good skill against small hws..but you kind of proved my point at him being ****,because when your fighting golota and all you can do is show great heart and chin then that kind of speaks for itself..

Bowe was always happier against opponents who came forwards & he struggled on the outside against Tubbs & to a lesser extent, Donald. Although he had a beautiful jab Bowe didnt use it enough & could be very sloppy defensively from range, which is where Wlad is most comfortable.

At mid-range & in close Bowe was a highly skilled & aggressive fighter with power in both hands. I think Bowe is too big & powerful for Wlad to simply grab & lean on in close, not only is he more durable than Wlad but is also a better finisher & could be ruthlessly dirty.

I think Wlad would start well, winning the opening rounds but would eventually crack under pressure by round 4 or 5. Once Bowe takes over it wouldnt last much longer.

Bowe was hugely powerful in his prime plus good skillset, he's be a handful for anyone even now over a 6 rounder.

The Klits never faced anyone so strong, except once when Vit lost terribly.

 

tell me what i could have agreed with about your post??bowe was overated..and vitali did not lose terribly..boxing fans dont demand for rematches if someone loses terribly (unless of course your a haye fan then you do) vitali fought top 3 atg in lennox lewis on 2 weeks notice and gave him a hell of a fight and lost **** happens...but lets get back to the thread..bowe is not a good enough boxer to beat the version of wlad.bowe dosnt like big guys..but like any decent big man should he always looked good against smaller op..in short tho.hes overated..

Bowe had trouble with movers, not big guys. The only guys he fought his size or bigger were Biggs & Gonzalez & he knocked them out

 

Could a 36 year old Bowe beat a 36 year old Vlad? The truth comes out eventually. No Bowe could not beat Vlad while both were 36 or 26 for that matter. Klitschko could box at distance and when or he could overhook Bowe's lead arm and collar tie him, then rip him with uppercuts and left hooks ( yea, Klitschko has actually done this in real fights )

Also and more importantly, Bowe had less discipline than Klitschko, that's a personality characteristic that is overlooked too often. Klitschko has always appeared to be in top notch shape while Bowe's body at times appeared to be a garden of flab.
