Donaire: "Going after THE #1 in my division and no less"

I agree. But about time that happens Donaire will be on to his next division.

Do you Realize that Every Boxing Expert/analyst/Boxers/Trainers(even ur God Freddie Roach) have Rigo as the Best at that weight after 10 fight Due to his Great Armature Background and the fact that Beat all the fighters around that weight recently that are Now Champions???

"Better"...Don't know that I believe that, "more established"...yeah that's fair, but I think him being held in a communist country against his will may have had something to do with that.

 

No. his amateur wins has no bearing in his standing at his current professional divison. he must fight mares or morel while donaire and nishioka are fighting.

 

Whatever the reasons, the fact remains that he himself hasn't done anything of note compared to Donaire, and yet Donaire's the one who's getting shitted on. Not sure how that works. Because whilst Rigo's been beating on nobodies like Kennedy, Casie, Ramos, etc, Donaire has at least gone and unified two world titles in just half a year, before signing to face the number one guy in the division. And if he wins that, he'd have made more of an impact at bantamweight in 8 months than what Rigo has done his whole professional career.

But most of the 'Donaire is ducking Rigo' brigade don't even know or care about that. They're just jumping on the bandwagon. I find it laughable, and that's despite me being one of the first people to call for a Donaire-Rigo fight (back when he knocked out Montiel).

 

Rigo shouldnt be so fixated on Donaire. He should fight Mares and others who are top fighters in the division. Obviously Donaire is looking passed him atm, but he is fighting the #1 guy in division by doing so, so aint no shame in this. Rigo needs to fight a top guy and beat him, maybe fight Donaire's past victim, and KO him early, then that would put actual pressure on him to fight.

What's wrong fighting against Nishioka? Nishi as FAR BETTER than Rigo. Rigo-Donaire can fight later if the Nishi-Donaire gets done. It's a better fight brodeal:deal

Nishioka is a:
-better,
-bigger globally and,
-more significant win to ones' career
than a fight against Rigondeaux (who is the clear second best option).

 

Wouldn't Rigo be a step down after facing an accomplished champ and the number one guy at 122? I'm sure Doanire would be leaving right after as his team will feel this way.

And If Rigo wants to still face donaire he is most likely gonna have to chase rigo to 126 and get some reals names on his resume because I'm sure Donaire will not be facing him. It would be a stepdown in money and the resume that Rigo brings.

If Rigo wants to make a statement and Donaire ultimately wins, Rigo should fight Nishioka after donaire and beat him in a better fashion.
