The chap on the BBC yesterday more or less admitted that that's how the sparring went when Dyscko was up at Sheffield recently.
That may have been the case but It is only sparring at the end of the day, when the pressure's on and your in front of a crowd, what happened in sparring can go out the window so I pay no attention to it.
I heard Joshua got worked over too, it doesn't look good for him, Dyschko has no fear, he is determined and will not be denied. he knows the judging will be biased, Joshua must be knocked out, it is the only way
Hard to believe how much stick Joshua gets here. I can understand that one would wish him to be lightning fast and have pinpoint perfect footwork but partial lack of those attributes/skills doesn't mean he isn't a force to recognised in the game. He is calm in the ring, has great level of physical strength, reach, and notable punching power to mention few strengths. Also his accuracy is pretty good and will become even better when his footwork becomes more sophisticated and versatile, which I am sure it will. Although Dyscko as a more experienced, versatile, and adaptable boxer has the odds on his side, it doesn't make it mismatch. Anthony most definitely has tools that can bother Dyscko's work significantly. This is just my (non-British) view of the man.
Joshua has enough ability to win this fight, especially with the home crowd advantage. Seems there a bit too much negativity and c'mon how many actually get knocked out!
Joshua is overrated in every department, especially his power. Let him stay amateur for another 4 years, he just has not got the raw materials to be the dominant heavyweight people where banging on about. He could be a good heavyweight, a solid heavyweight. But the kid is just a big strong guy who has dedicated to boxing...... Fair play...
PK, had you seen Joshua fight before he fought the Cuban? He looked much better at last years world championships
He didn't look anything special then either. I mean there were good things and he was so inexperienced that it was very promising, but not once have I seen this awesome, raw talent that people were banging on about. Still haven't seen the fight with Savon, and everyone says it was his worst performance for a long time, but all the same some of the hype he was getting was ridiculous. Likewise, some of the total writing off he got before this Savon fight never mind now, is ridiculous too.
