Despite all you said, Pov still manages to have a better HW resume than Haye.

He's been at heavyweight his entire career. Why do Haye haters ignore the fact that he's only been at HW for just under 4 years?

Haye's resume since 2008 is better than Povetkin's. He hasn't beaten anyone of the caliber of Valuev or Chisora.

    Chagaev beat Valuev

Chambers and Byrd are better than Chisora

And those wins came when Haye was a cruiserweight.

    Povetkin beat shot Chagaev.

I know, what an idiot. Rahman is WAY better than those scrubs will ever be.

    :-(
The current version of Rahman? Seriously?
    He hasn't beaten anyone who isn't a low-level journeyman since 2007.

Current, maybe not. Overall? Not even close.

Rahman wins this ONLY if he's in shape and Povetkin is not. I would love to see Povetkin's career burn in flames with a loss here.

More like a 80/20 fight. A Rahman win would be a big upset IMO.

no way man..rahman beat lennox lewis..which makes him an atg...who has pov beat??hes just a bum..the ony reason its a 50/50 fight is because rahman is a little older now..should be a great scrap..cant wait..

    Yeah, that's what I meant.
Obviously prime Rahman is a perfectly worthy contender.

Looks like you're trolling but I'll bite anyway.
As I've said already, Rahman hasn't beaten anyone in the top 200 in 5 years, and hasn't beaten anyone even close to world class since Monte Barrett in 2005.

He's got to be the worst world title challenger in any division this year. Even worse than Tommy Karpency. :-(

    More like 95/5.

The ONLY thing Rahman has left is his power. His punch resistance has gone and even journeyman Shannon Miller had him in trouble in one of his recent fights.

I hope Rahman wins. I know, it's unlikely due to him being an ancient corpse.

Povetkin is disgraceful. The guy won an eliminator and decided he was "not ready". He could have fought for the belt, and worked his way back up and lost again twice over by now. Would have made more money that way too. Mandatory challengers automatically get better purse splits. Whoever is in charge of his career is a dope.
