    This is it.
He's being rated off "looking good" against some very dubious (perhaps 'pitiful') opposition.

Chisora is his best HW win, imo, all things considered.
And Tyson Fury's beaten him !

I'm not even a "resume obssessive" when it comes to rating fighters. I like to give some leeway. But Haye's record seems so empty relative to his rating, it's baffling.

Straight up, lewis aside, i'd favour haye to beat any british hw in history.

It's not so much that haye is brilliant but that, generally speaking, our heavyweights are ****.

Haye has a massive speed advantage over each of those listed below him. He can punch just as hard as they can and his chin is equally as questionable (although never stopped as a hw).

I've never ranked british heavyweights in terms of all time greatness but my suspicion is this is a h2h list and, if so, only lewis on that list would I favour over haye.

I don't see any good reason to pick Haye over Tommy Farr or Joe Bugner, prime for prime, for example.
Haye has nothing on a prime Joe Louis or a '73 Frazier, and Tommy and Joe really gave those ATGs decent scraps.

I mean, what do people seriously think he'd do with Farr ?

I also think Bruno and others would beat him.

If Haye was a good as people say, i would have expected a lot more from him.

I agree 100% and I DO like Haye as a HW,

I don't hold the Klit fight against him, poor, poor performance though it was indeed. But I still believe, if he gets another Klit (and some balls), he can beat them aswell as all the other HWs.

this isn't saying Haye is an Elite fighter, it's saying the whole division is ****en stinking!!!

    comparitively speaking.

I think haye would win comfortably against against both farr and bugner. Too quick and too powerful.

Haye would beat up tommy farr, unanimous decision. Too much speed and power.

A prime Joe Louis didn't quite win comfortably.
He was a good deal better than David Haye, dare I say it. Easily as quick and powerful too.

These "Haye beats them all" predictions are based on not much at all, other than wins over 38 year-old has-beens and mediocre contenders, not always impressively either.
It's really hard to figure out how he'd get favoured over Farr, Bugner etc. assuming the guys are all at their bests.

He's never demonstrated any decent work rate over a distance. He cannot seem to maintain a defense and an offense at the same time.
Farr was a good boxer and very busy, a warrior.

Mine top 5 would be - (With the exclusion of Fitzimmons)

    1/ Lennox Lewis
    2/ Tommy Farr
    3/ Joe Bugner
    4/ Frank Bruno
    5/ Henry Cooper

Haye,in my eyes,is still unproven at heavyweight. Dereck Chisora was limited, albeit brave. Valuev had size, but very little else.

And Tyson was shot to hell at the time Williams got to him. Not Danny's fault, but beating a 2004 version of Tyson proves nothing.

I'm confused, no Fitzsimmons but Bugner the Hungarian/British/Australian should be there?
