All the people are underrating Froch because he lost to one of the best fighters in activity, Ward. This is really an equal fight for me (decision). But only if it takes place on neutral field.
I think Dawson takes this on points. The fight will never happen though. Dawson will blame his upcoming loss to Ward on weight and will never again fight at SMW.

Chad is a different fighter these days, mentally. He wins a wide decision v Froch if he isn't drained.
The gulf in class is enormous here. Dawson would win nearly every round. Froch cannot handle slickness as he proved vs Dirrell and Ward. Dawson would outclass him and make him look sloppy.
right cause Andre Dirrell is the epitome of mental toughness atschatsch actually Dawson is the last guy you want in with your fighter if he cannot handle slickness and athleticism from a bigger man.
Froch by UD, Dawson is a pure boxer, and pure boxers alone dont beat Froch as his active and power, he'll get them eventually. Ward is a pure boxer but is slick and crafty at the same time, thus Froch lost to Ward.
I guess the people who think Froch would win didn't see the Dirrell or Ward fights. Hell, Froch was losing to Jermain Taylor for goodness sake and even got dropped. In no universe does Froch beat Dawson. Froch is slow and can only be effective if you trade with him or stand right in front of him. Movement and angles (Dirrell) or in fighting (Ward) and overall slickness (Ward and Dirrell) give Froch HUGE problems. This is another fight where Froch would lose convincingly, then some butt hurt Euro would start a thread saying Carl would win a re-match vs Dawson in Nottingham in which the rest of the butt hurt Euro's would respond in droves to attempt to remove the butt hurt through group therapy...
froch has more losses but has taken on better opps, so i think hes proven he can beat chad. Chad needs to box with his head to beat him, and he has a good chance IMHO. Hes worstoff if he trades with Froch, despite being a masterblaster himself, he doesnt share Frochs freakish granite chin.
Dawson has NEVER beat a guy who is around his age and he showed that he struggled with aggressive fighters /thread
there might be a gam in talent, but Dawson don't have the mentality or the heart for the game he got embarrased by Pascal, standing there like a statue, he got hit with a shot and didn't fancy it anymore. Froch is the complete opposite, i cant bet against him on a mental midget like dawson
Froch by late KO or decision, Dawson would crumble under that kind of pressure, and Froch's chin, power and stamina would be a nightmare for Dawson, especially if Carl has the Nottingham crowd cheering him on
I hope to God this fight happens. Froch has little to no shot against Dawson. Too much size, speed and slickness. Ward is about to find out on Sept. 8th
