TMT Promotions...VADA or USADA or no extra testing??

Logic and common sense is a lost art on these borards now-a-days...Also, maybe more boxers are using VADA because its cheaper? People will find any little thing to ***** about.

Also could be boxers were not aware of VADA's testing procedures like they were with USADA, and thought since they were a smaller company they could cheat them but not the 'Olympic' style testing of USADA...

 

I agree. And right now there's several problems with promoters bringing in their favored testing co. But I can admit, it's better then nothing. But IF that's the case, I think contract entered between the promoter and the testing agency SHOULD be made available to the state commision where they fight. And that's at the very least. The state commision should be aware of any and all details between the promoter and tester. I think with the costs involved, that's a big factor in state commisions not adopting this universally. Maybe start w/ title fights I guess.

Tyson and Holyfield also get props, but it wasn't exactly SUCCESSFUL, which is the keyword, since it took another decade+ in order for anything to get done, which Floyd did.

Actually, it's the casuals who usually give less a **** about this then the diehards. Casuals just want to see an entertaining fight, usually with a lot of action. All I know is, before Floyd brought up extra testing to avoid Pac, neither die hard nor casuals were up in arms about ANY extra testing. I don't think ANY major fight that happened years ago would have recived a boost w/ extra testing. Not Leonard - Hearn, not Tyson - Lewis, not Ali - Frazier, not Mayweather - DLH.

how bout because the one that costs a lot more is a reputable company with a proven track record, worldwide recognition and association with the WADA??? people have heard of USADA!!! outside of hardcore boxing fans no one knows what the **** VADA is and upon a tiny bit of research they find that the man behind balco and the most famous steroid snitch of all time Victor Conte has his hands in it......

Evander took the tests and kicked Mike's ass...in the RING...good thing he didn't scurry away and file a lawsuit..

 

I'm not saying fights are getting more attention from the casuals with testing involved.. I'm saying out of those who ARE doing extra testing, I'd assume USADA attached to 'Olympic' style gets more respect and is considered more legit than VADA who just started..

It's laughable how you "Manny Pacquiao fans" see fit to critisise a world respected agency like USADA, it's a ****ing joke.

Deep down you know your man is a cheat, everyone knows it. He ducked the tests back in 2008 & there's no getting away from that.

It's simple as far as I'm concerned, if USADA is so **** & corrupt, why won't Manny agree to take their tests?

 

I wonder why they didn't get on Pac for passing VADA's precious tests for the Bradley fight?
