Now most of us agree Tua has one of the best chins in boxing but I read Manny Stewart's interview not long ago where he mentioned the fight with Tua, explaining Tua was someone who maintained his power right till the end but mentioned if Lennox had to get him out of there he would have.

Did Lennox ever mention why he didn't take the chance to knock him out? That fight was one where Lennox stayed on the outside for the most of it.

Oh did I ever mention that I also would be able to KO Tua if I wished?

Lennox was in cautious boring mode that night. He definitely hurt Tua early, like the second round.

I think if he turned up the heat he would have got him out of there. Tua's chin gets overrated.

I believe Lennox really just wanted to stay away from him...its for sure not the most entertaining Lewis fight...but he did beat him

Lewis was cautious like Wlad ever since being smashed by drug addicted Oliver Mccall.
If Lewis trades with Tua,he gets his face caved in. Why was Lewis cautious against Tua? why was he cautios against Mercer? Because if he wasn't he gets knocked the eff out.

    So no Manny, Lewis couldn't,he didn't...and you're a douche!

Well for that matter his chin is no more overated than Tyson's or , I don't remember Tua getting rocked early in that bad, but Lennox even said Tua took his 3 punch combo clean and was still standing and no one else at that time had taken it that easy.

After the fight, Tua was catching **** for not doing anything during the fight. He just walked around and was even more tentative than Lewis was...

Tua's handler said that Tua took a right hand in the second round that hurt him and effectively erased any thought of risking taking another. This is why he was content to walk forward and eat jabs all night.

I think it's possible that Lewis could have knocked Tua down, but in doing so, he would put himself in position to get smashed himself.

At one point, Lewis went for the kill and even staggered Tua, but Tua survived. After that, Lewis returned to his "jab and circle" routine for the rest of the right. This was the only time Tua looked hurt in the fight.

Lennox Lewis was in typical cautious mode. It was boring. Just like Wlad is now.
But it was one of his better wins/performances.

Steward is just talking. "Could have" ... blah blah.

I'm pretty sure that's the part that Lewis mentioned in the interview that he was surprised that Tua didn't drop. He barely dropped his right hand for most of the fight.
