    Possible reasons:

    1. He wants one more tuneup fight.
    2. He was asking too much money.
    3. He was thinking of what happened to Montiel and Darchinyan.

    Which one is true?

Arce wants to see Donaire vs Rigondeaux like most real boxing fans. He wants to be entertained instead of being a sacrificial lamb. Thant's my guess.

Darchinyan gave Arce the beating of his life time at superfly.

Now picture what Nonito would do to him at super bantam :-(

    Complete mismatch of epic proportions

reports have circulated that arce was asking for too much money. around $1M to be exact. it's not a problem though, we are getting a fantastic fight between the top 2 fighters at 122.

Same as Kirkland who knows he was being sacrificed one handed against canelo and wanted to buy his way out.
Arce is tough but not stupid,he knows he's tailor made for Donaire and that could be his last fight at a high level.

    :good

We got Nishioka instead, but thats ok, thats an excellent fight either way. :thumbsup

In a perfect world, Rigo and Mares would battle it out, and face the winner of Donaire/Nishioka.

Too bad we don't live in a perfect world.
