Is John L Sullivan forgotten? he was a **** boxer who foughts bums all the time and would have got iced by black guys, but his name has stuck around until today. Joe Calzaghe certainly never ducked black people like Joke Sullivan and never faced posh whiteys like Abrahams even though he was carefully managed in a similar way. But he will be remembered as the first smw to both gain acclaim and make history at that weight (if you forget Ottke like most people have), even though there will be many SMWs in the future who will be better than him.
