No he wasn't. Faded, yes. Shot? No. He was able to give Carl Thompson a run for his money so he still had some left in the tank. Eubank was still credible when Joe fought him and is a worthy name on his resume!

Jones was coming off a 3 fight winning streak against some of his better opponents ( his record is terrible ) Most saw Jones as the favourite against Super Joe. Joe embarrassed him like never before.
