Thr amount of time he fought after proves he was prime :rofl.
Duran fought for near 20 years after he faced Hagler and he definitely was not in his prime.

So who is better young one?
Dont be fooled by TheWiseJester. He's ****ing stupid.
Ali was either #1 or #2. So he's either the best or the second best.
So what are you talking about? "Not the best by some distance" Really?
    Tell us then?

    Remember this rule,

"you're never as good as the fans say or as bad as the critics say."
Everyone is simultaneously underrated and overrated.

He's the best heavyweight of all-time.

Pound for Pound Ray Robinson is the Greatest of all-time.

Even Muhammad Ali himself stated that Ray Robinson was the greatest of all-time.

But the pound for pound nonsense is all bull**** anyway. You can only really compare heavyweights and fighters from the same era.

Muhammad Ali was the greatest of his time, Larry Holmes or Mike Tyson where the greatest of the 80's, Lennox Lewis or Evander Holyfield where the greatest of the 90's etc.

I don't think anybody thinks when the term "Greatest of all time" is used for Muhammad Ali........that it is pound for pound!

It has always been referencing to him as a Heavyweight.
