Muhammad Ali is overrated

All I am saying is this,"Ali is not the God some people claim" of course he is most peoples top 3,but his persona is larger than what is really should be.. I put that he was knocked down because he was not invincible as some claim..

there is no question that Louis and Ali are #1 and #2. Those are the 2 best of HW history.

 

How? And by the way,he fought in the 70's too. That's where he really became the legend that he is. How is he overrated? He is the best or the second best ever.

nobody in history is ****in with a prime ali.

 

He was a very good fighter but not worthy of the level of adulation people heap on him.

People scream at you if you dare say anyone would last a round with him, yet many bums took him the distance, some even knocking him down.

Beating his opposition was classed as the most incredible feat in boxing, yet his opposition lost to other ordinary guys too.

I don't fall for that 'ah but his character made him the greatest' nonsense either, he had a horrible character and done horrible things, and was an annoying loud mouth.

I just struggle to see what was so mind blowingly 'great' about him, sorry.

 

Best Heavyweight ever, top 10 P4P ever.

At the very worst, you could have him behind Louis as a Heavy and in the top 15 P4P. He's only overrated if you say he's better than SRR etc.

 

Who are you to say Ali....or anybody....is not worthy of their level of adulation???

The problem with me is when people say Tyson wouldn't last one round,Vitali wouldn't last 30 seconds,but a bum like Wepner can last 15 rounds? It is the exaggerations that are tied to legends,that make them bigger legends,than what they are,that's my only gripe..
