Well put. I am not a fan of Calzaghe by any means, but it is obvious to me that Joe is not getting anywhere near the credit he deserves.

As a Hopkins fan, I cringe when I see fellow Hopkins fans try to devalue Calzaghe's win, or make excuses for why Hopkins lost the fight. (It only makes Hopkins look bad.)

In my opinion, Calzaghe falls just short of being considered an all time great, but still ahead of Mayweather and Pacquiao. (I follow boxing very closely, and refuse to let the media brainwash me into thinking otherwise.)

No, I am a Bernard Hopkins fan. I have never been a fan of Calzaghe, but I have to give credit where it is due.

Listing his win over Roy Jones Jr. is not embarrassing. RJJ is an all-time great. Although RJJ was almost a shell of what he once was by the time he fought Calzaghe, it still does not change the fact that Calzaghe beat an ATG. By devaluing the win, you only make RJJ look bad.
