    today guys like mayweather don't do that, he didn't even fight for almost 2 years since he said his body needed to rest..

    if they had to, modern fighters can fight in the same rate as they did before. they would adapt. but you can't simply put, say money may, the modern goat, in their era and expect him to dominate as he does today. but if he grew up at that time, he'd be at the top with srr.

    Today you have much better dehydration and can come in their matches much lighter than they are at the fight.

    Then they were trained for 15 rounds.

    I prefer to look at how far ahead each boxer was of his time.

    Don't know why I'm responding to a plebeian who would even ask such a stupid question, but it goes to show that people nowadays are simply built better than people once were, and that our superior living conditions have also fostered superior athletes.

    Superior living conditions have made people SOFTER..:deal

    Modern people have radioctive isotopes tearing them down from the inside...People before the atomic age didn't have that problem.

    Fighter's today don't even have the stanima to BOB and WEAVE..:hi:
