A catch at 150 might have been fine before Miguel settled in at 154, Miguels been fighting at the weight a while and shouldnt be forced to come down again

    its funny fan double standards

Cotto and Margo losing extra weight didnt matter

Manny having to gain a few is dangerous or is ok with us

    i think its dumb

Yeah, the double standard is pretty funny. Sort of like this one. Why isn't anyone bringing up the fact that Cotto wanted to rematch Margarito at 150, until finally settling upon a 153 lb. catchweight? Oh, and Cotto also requested a 160 lb. weight limit on fight night, but didn't get it. But I guess all of that makes Cotto a big man...right? And let's not forget this was after Cotto already had fought at 154 twice. Comprende?

far from double standards. cotto and brickfists grew up in weight together so the weight was irrelevant between them.

pac was naturally smaller than cotto was and hence, the weightdrain worked well for him. too well, lol.

Right, he was beaten pillar to post because he was weight drained even though Cotto said himself that the weight was not an issue. I see. :huh

Yeah, revising his statement later on. A very common tactic used to save face, but hardly credible. He simply had time to reflect upon how badly he was beaten, and felt the need to employ damage control.

Manny can beat a lighter Cotto because, for one his chin is not the same and he loses some power.. Cotto is a humble guy,of course he wont come out and say he was drained lol.. Yes he is afraid,if not fight him or Floyd already!

Personally, I think after the Margarito fight, Team Pacquiao became much more hesitant about fighting bigger men with a considerable rehydration advantage.

So why are they pursuing at any weight then? And if they do feel there is a need, then why can't they just do it t 154? What's the big deal?

Cotto can give up some money and Pac can pick the ring size, glove size, etc...

So if there is no need why pursue it in the first place, as they have already done by fact???:rofl:deal

You'll find that nobody agrees with what you just said...therefore your wrong and you should shut the **** up before you continue to get made fun of and posters will laugh at you.:hi:

Marquez came up because he wanted to fight the best, and Manny at the time, said Marquez was done and it would be easy etc etc..then the 3rdfight happened and Manny was dominated 9-3 though they gave him af gift.

but true say Margarito cheated in the first one so Cotto wanted to mess him up before the fight
