He beat foreman, Liston, Frazier, norton, chuvalo, Moore, Patterson, cooper, shavers, Lyle and many others. He was the dominant fighter in the golden age of heavyweight boxing. That's the era when the heavyweight division had the best talent. No other fighter has had as much influence as him. What other fighter is more revered then Ali? More revered than Any other fighter in history. More revered than almost other man in history.
He was the first three time heavyweight champion in history and earned his first two titles by stopping Liston and foreman who is the most powerful heavyweight in history.

 

Yeah I must be fat because I don't rate Ali number one,amazing how people get all emotional because one guy out of 100 says he is NOT the Goat..

 

Don't forget Chuck Wepner! Liston the most powerful,I'm not too sure about that now..

 

By the way, Wepner never knocked down Ali. If you knew anything out of boxing you would know that Wepner was fighting dirty the entire Time and stepped on Ali's foot then PUSHED him down. Seeing as Ali took powerful shots from Lyle and shavers you can tell that he had an amazing chin

 

Liston wasn't the most powerful. Foreman was. At least when it came to brute strength. You can see his power on the way he took Down Frazier and moorer

 

Lol so stepping on his toe almost made him fall out the ring?? Your feet don't flail in the air when your pinky toe gets stepped on,look at Pac-Juan 3 for example..

Ali was backing up (like he usually did), Wepner stepped on his foot and pushed him down. Ali never went down from a right hand. The only thing that knocked him down were left hooks. Every single boxing expert says that Wepner pushed him down. And yes, pushing someone down can make you nearly fall out of the ring. Just look at Leonard-hearns 1. The second knockdown ray Leonard pushed hearns down and hearns nearly fell out of the ring

 

He means the controversial decisions on the norton, shavers and young fights. A
Also I believe he also means the way the Lyle Time keeps ticking. World keeps spinning. Was stopped with Lyle ahead on the scoreboards.
