Who believes he'd be a world beater?

I still think he'd be getting exposed at world level. I dont think its his chin that is the problem, i think hes just too amateurish and when he gets caught he gets caught flush. ANYONE can get KO'd its just having the smarts to avoid punches surely.

If Khan had Carl Froch's chin but fought the same way i still think he'd be getting KO'd and beaten up

i agree, even if your chin is good if u let the other person catch u with haymakers it can be night night, he needs to get head movement or a block asap, and stop throwin so many combinations he needs patience

his inside game and Kangaroo style would still be a problem.

but a solid chin could bail him out alot of trouble.

neither option. he wouldnt be flawless because he has so many technical flaws and a terrible inside game.

But he would be a top p4p fighter and go down as a HOF if he had a solid chin. But only if he had a margarita type chin. Because whilst hic chin is poor. The main problem is the way he hangs it out to be tagged. So if he can fix that problem too.

But put a granite chin on khan and he'd be p4p number one when may and manny retire.

Like Malignaggie says, hes so hard to win rounds off.

But it's the same as anything else, if you take a fighter's biggest flaw and turn it into one of hs biggest stengths of course he becomes exceptional. Imagine Floyd with concussive one-punch power. Imagine Manny with Mayweather's delivery. And so on.

Those problems are generated, partially, by his weak chin.

He's stayed away from inside fighting and learning to do it, because his chin can't hold up there. And he bounces around like a khangaroo because he fights on nervous energy - concerned he could get sparked any minute and thus has to bounce around everywhere to keep the fight at distance.

I'm pretty sure if he had a good, reliable chin, he'd settle down more, be relaxed, and explore other avenues of fighting. He'd still have his other flaws, but they wouldn't be magnified as much because we wouldn't be seeing him as hurt as often.

Khan is one of the few glass jawed fighters who would STILL suck if he had a decent chin.

it seems more like he's never broken away from his "score points" ameteurish style. a better trainer might have helped. he has that typical Freddie roach "in and out combinations" style like Manny and Linares. that'll only take you so far.

He tends to fade when he finds that his opponent can take his punches. He can also be very predictable. He's the kind of guy who will either overwhelm you with plan A or fail because he never comes prepared with a plan B.

Yeah. Although there’s more to Pacquiao than just ‘in and out’.

Roach identified Khan’s best and worst attributes, and had him fight in a style which suited those the best. And to be fair, he’s done pretty well to get as far as he has. He’s maximized him. The problem is Khan and his limitations, not Roach. In my opinion, anyway.

If he had an iron chin then he'd be fighting Floyd next.... too bad.. so sad.
