Right now I think different, Dawson could beat Andre Ward, could even make him KO!

:good Dawson is really good, he could produce the surprise. Of course, if he will box like in this fight from 2010.
Dawson should go after him like Froch against Bute. Ward is a chicken. And Chad can catch him. One time is enough.

I think Dawson is a VERY live dog.

He fights nothing like anyone Ward has fought, is so much faster than Froch, Kessler etc, and his kryptonite seems to be guys that can hit him with meaningful punches. Pascal was an ambush fighter, darting in and out with brick punches that discouraged Dawson, and that simply isn't Ward's game.

Ward doesn't have anything to keep Dawson off him, and he can't outspeed him like he normally does with his opponents.

Ward will need to use his inside game to perfection to win, If Chad keeps the fight at range he will win, and win big imo

u've got to remember that Ward is on a completely different level than Pascal. hes not that easy to hit.

but dawson has some of the most beautifull combinations in boxing today. if he'd let them go.i think he wouldve stopped Pascal if it wasnt for the headbutt. but Ward is like a mini Bhop except younger. i see Ward winning a close but clear UD.

Dawson lost because of a cut. He was much better. Dawson lacks Froch's mentality who is always attacking (even though slower).

That's because Chad is not the same anytime. He lacks a little bit of more power and mentality to become the best.

Let's be honest, Ward is good but he is no Floyd, was protected many times.
I hope he will taste the defeat to limit his mouth and to become better.

exactly. he's too tentative to let his hands go and always tries to set up perfect punches insted of just attacking.

Ward is the type of guy who will take full advantage of this and get off first.

Ward is better all round than Pascal, but he is certainly not as offensively gifted, nor has he proven to have the same chin. His lack of experience against speedy opponents might be his downfall here,

Hopkins even at this stage vs Ward would be a pick 'em for me,

Hopkins has a better gas tank and can fight at pace for 12 rounds easily, Ward tired late against Froch, who did not really force a pace.

Hopkins is vastly more experianced, has fought Roy Jones, Joe Calzaghe, fast men a crafty veteran who knows every trick in the book.

Ward has fought Abraham, Froch, Green and Kessler, none of whom fight anything like Dawson, none of whom are remotely fast

    Hopkins physically the bigger man

Ward is the slight favorite for me, but he is still untested against a variety of styles, speed could easily be his kryptonite yet, we must wait and see

That was probably Dawson's worst performance, and he still could have won the fight.
