It was just a flash touch-down. Legs abandoned him for just a brief second. Partially because of balance. Cordoba caught him at the perfect time - as Rigo was stepping in and standing on just one leg.

As shown it similar to Clottey being dropped by Cotto's jab. Doesn't really say much about his chin, it's more about being caught in a vulnerable position and losing balance.

He ran into the jab, running into a punch is like two trains crashing into eachother.

Then he ran the rest of the remaining rounds.

    Interesting.

Clottey has shown a great chin, but if you're caught at the perfect angle, anyone could find their legs disappear on them.

    :think
    1. A secure stance with both feet on the floor
    2. Stepping face-first into a solid jab whilst one foot hasn't found the floor yet.
^^ Which is more likely to cause balance issues?

Cuban glass shattered once again. It's like Gavilan got all of the steel for his chin and everyone else was left with Grade A porcelain or some ****.

Balance my ass  He got buckled and dropped, and then ran the rest of the fight.

Thanks for posting :). I thought the vid would give me an idea of how rigos chin is but its such a wierd KD. It looks like a balance issue more then anything

Knees don't buckle like that during a balance issue.
