i agree that cheating is despicable.

However, you are cheating in this post by claiming that PEDs increase your reflexes.

Something of a paradox in your post.

Roys reflexes def were on the wane in his midthirties, and that decline does seem quite fast. By the time of Calslappy he can barely raise his hands in response, something the Zaghe camp must have noticed and helped cure Joe's fear of flying. It still doesnt detract from me being a Joe fan, he is still a British bulldog even if he was something of a coward.

Twas a fast decline in reflexes for Roy so perhaps there was something else involved that wasnt PEDs. Lets just hope he isnt diagnosed with some horrible disease in the next few years like Parkinsons which will make his detractors look like evil little keyboard warriors.

Also his lack of fundamental boxing skills got grossly exposed. He got outboxed by Glen Johnson, and Johnson was the older man!

We've been over this before, and whilst I would favour Roy, Joe would give him hell, he certainly doesn't 'whoop Calzaghe's ass with ease'.

Fair enough, I would also favour Roy to win this fight, but I don't think he stops Calzaghe, who had an iron chin, excellent recovery powers and good defence. It would have been a great fight, as I said, no-one between 168-175 ever has an easy night with Joe

Calzaghe and Ottke both ruled the super middles at these times.

The duel rulers both ranked up 20 title defenses at the same time, double headed dominance and they werent even brothers.

Joe was silver champion at this time , not bad for the London born 70% KO specialist.

Ottke had to go after mastering the game and his son Joe took over.

Finally dominating prime and drug free Jones Jr in an amazing display of boxing and power punching dominance that was unheard of even in the WBO destruction days.

Looks like the fight has to be called off due to blatant signs of PED overdose.

Yeah, that's great, but not actually true. He was protected, his career was hyper-managed, but Kessler was neither a complete washup nor a bum, neither was Lacy at the time, and of course, Hopkins was still a pretty formidable opponent. The rest? A couple of good belt holders and a load of bums. Nowhere near as bad (or good) as some suggest.

People forget how big of a fight Lacy Calzaghe was. It was the one of the biggest super middle weight fights in the divisions history. The Hopkins win is a legit very good win. It wasnt close like people are saying. Hopkins got outpointed an confused. One of the only times I seen Bernard not sure of himself. An for you performance enhancement critics Joe went through his career natural, its plain as day in his physique an fighting style. He could adapt to styles as good as anybody ive seen. Throw in the PRIME Kessler win which again many many people were picking Joe to lose an you have a hall of fame fighter. Undefeated. I overlooked him I admit. but watche more of his career recently. Gotta give credit
