well, Schofield and Bobby Davro never boxed, won boxing titles, or were ever discussed in a boxing forum period in the entire history of boxing forums, let alone being discussed in this thread. SO to mention them on a Calzaghe thread would be somewhat disingenious, something I hope I am not. You are welcome to being so though.

For now this remains a Calzaghe thread, not a discussion about a childrens tv presenter and a failed comic. When it becomes them I will be happy to discuss them with you.

In the meantime if you find info pertaining to Bobby Davro ruling the SMW division for years on the sly, let us in on it. Who knows, perhaps theres a good reason why Ottke was so crap in the ring after all... it was Bobby Davro in a mask all along!

The parallelism between Calzaghe and Gayweather is really very apparentto those who don't nuthug.

Both have hand issues. Both have used chemicals, xylocaine with gay, coke with Joe. Both pretty much fouight their best named opponents in the twilight of their opponent's career. RJJ and Hopkins, while Hoya in Gay.

Infact, Joe probably edge Gayweather in terms of resume, only a bit.
