He is overrated. His fights against the nobodies were elevated to great fight status caus eof money they bought in, not haow competitive they were. Cleveland Williams should never been given boxing license after he was shot in spine. Ali also was dirty fighter, and held like a mother****er. I mean, he would not break when ref ordered it, yet because of money he bought in with antics outside ring, they were afraid to penalize him. He lost 3 of 3 to Norton, yet got 2 gift decisions. Shavers could not beat anyone in top 10, with one exception maybe, plus he was ko'd by Stander, Cobb, and lost in prime to lightheavy named Stallings. Lyle fight was farce.
I agree about his chin and heart but his stamina wasn't great after his exile.Its why he became more of a hit and hold fighter.The man is great and as icons go,the cream of the crop.My only problem is that his boxing skills weren't as great as people think.

Ali gets underrated because of who he is in my opinion people tend to look at the man not the fighter.
