would love to know what the russian said to her at the final end of the fight, katie just seemed to dismiss her. Seems to be some hatred there lol and her face on the podium with the arms folded.

    Analysis

Ben Dirs BBC Sport at ExCeL
"Complete and utter delirium at ExCeL as Katie Taylor pulls the last two rounds out of the bag to win the lightweight crown. I've been to Rugby World Cup finals, I've been to Wimbledon finals, I've seen Great Britain win three gold medals in 45 minutes at the Olympic Stadium - but I have never heard a noise like that."

What other options does she have though??

Womens pro boxing is non existant for the most part, sure she could make some cash in Dublin but it would be short lived.

Wait out another games for 4 more years ? She will be 30 then.

Hard to go through all those usual tournamnets at this stage I would guess/

Probably make more promoting womens boxing and doing promotional work for tv etc etc

They had her on RTÉ doing analysis for the boxing at the last Olympics. She wasn't great do be honest at it. They only had her on 1-2 times.

**** layla ali made a fortune of her last name you dont think taylor could the same with her skills ? no doubt the 02 would be sold out for her world title fights, hell id say they'd sell out every one of her fights especially pro debut.

and even if she stays amateur word is AIBA are gonna put women in the wsb those guys make a fair few quid aswell. i honestly think retiring now is a bad decision her career will only begin to take off

For me anyway. 5 Europeans, 4 World Championships and Olympic Champion all in a row. There's no one ever from here going to top that.

Also Would ****in love to be in Bray tonight. I'd say it will be the session to end all sessions there tonight.
