This dubstep version of Chariots of Fire is ridiculous.

Nicola Adams well done! An exciting fight as well, did a good job of roughing up Cancan despite the reach disadvantage. A diamond in the rough, I wonder if she will turn pro? A bit old maybe? Though for a second she could have got disqualified as i thought she hit Cancan after the final bell but the place would have been torn apart if that had happened! Cancan looked very elegant and I can see how she may have won the previous world championship fights, but I think Nicola would not be denied this time and surprised her opponent.

Katie Taylor I was a bit disappointed with, spent ages bouncing up and down and not punching then rushing in wildly, didn't seem to use her jab much. Thought it could have gone either way, Ochigava seemed pretty confident with the Ali Shuffle in the second round. I think she just tired over the final round otherwise she may have sneaked it.Hardly a dominant performance over a rather one dimensional opponent but then again Ochigava was clever at tieing Taylor up and messing up Taylors flow.

Shields is great, cheeky sticking her tongue out in the last round! Tough and rough, I hope she turns pro! She looked super mean and has that professional attitude and style already, she just walked through her more cultivated opponents jab. I think Torlopova was just intimidated from the first second of the fight.

I managed to catch up on the finals tonight the whole session was brilliant! The Irish support for Katie Taylor was incredible, what a great moment when they announced she'd won it. The actual fight seemed quite close to me but I thought she deserved it.

Nicola Adams boxed really well vs Ren, she's looked really good in all her fights in the tournament and for me was clearly the best flyweight. I like her style too she can box or fight if she has to.

Shields was really entertaining again too, she seems like a tough girl who just loves to get in a scrap and I've enjoyed her fights more than alot of the mens. Just 17 too, amazing talent she could be a real superstar for women's boxing in the states. Hopefully she gets plenty of publicity from this.

Yeah, its always tight between taylor and ochigova. They are each others nemesis and their fights are usually tentative affairs. The Taylor - Jonas fight was quality, bout of the entire tournament for me..
