    Has he?

I don't see many people he could plausibly face now, Bradley is a no-go. Marquez IV would receive a lot of criticism and for once I think there's a chance that this fight would not do huge numbers (unless in Mexico)

Cotto @ 150 (if Cotto is willing to fight at this weight, prior to facing Mayweather he said he would go no lower than 150, but after accepting the Mayweather fight he had a few scolding remarks to make about Pacquiao wanting to fight him at 148.)

    Is there anyone else?

Khan has completely taken himself out of the picture. The Martinez fight won't (shouldn't) happen.

I honestly can't think of a legit contender he could face. Mayweather & Cotto are his only options. And there are some who don't want a Cotto fight (I'm not one of them)

Mayweather himself has a few options at 154 that would be decent opponents/moneymakers

    Alvarez
    Kirkland
    Lara

Or perhaps a Cotto rematch for a post-jail tuneup

However those options are still pretty thin and I think Khan once again ruined his chance of a Mayweather fight so his options are also limited. I give him 3 more fights before retirement

    Those fights would have been

    Khan
    Alvarez
    Pacquiao

In whatever order imo. Now one of those names barring a miracle is struck from the list. One of them is fighting already this year.

Floyd does have some fights available at 154 but at the moment? Not too many options that'd be marketable

All that leaves is Emmanuel too

Yep - Especially when all your options are for rematches.

Cotto - He has already beat convincingly why does he need to fight again

Marquez - He hasnt really been able to beat JMM in three attempts, why ruin a really great trilogy with a fourth fight?

Bradley - No one wants this. We all know Pac won the fight. The fight wouldnt sell, and it will bring up all the old **** about the last fight, which really no one can be bothered with. The fight was a farce and should just be moved swiftly on from.

He's run out of the easy pickings that he's feasted on the past few years. If there is anyone who has been exposed it's Pacquiao in his fights with Marquez and Bradley.

pac only weighs 148 on fight night.

if you think about it, it's the same weight as rios, broner, peterson and other 140's on fight night.

    Hang on a second.
Isn't this the super duper awesome division with more depth than the Mariana Trench?
Isn't there hundreds of incredible fighters just chomping at the bit to get a title shot?

Controversial because of the blatantly wrong result, the fight was a lot closer than the HBOtards made it out to be, but it was still clearly a Pacquiao victory.

The public doesn't want the fight due to

    1. The incredibly shady circumstances surrounding the last decision
    2. The margin in which Pacquiao beat Bradley

Both make it not only tough to sell (I am not going to stay up to watch that **** again, let alone pay for it on PPV) and a tough fight to actually make an argument to have.

As for who I think he should fight I think he has pretty much run out of viable opponents, there is only Cotto (who he beat before, in my humble opinion it was a worse version of Cotto, but he has still beaten him), and Mayweather.

For him it's basically 1 of 3 rematches or fight Floyd. And I honestly feel he'll look bad if it's anything but the latter.

Dont think it's up to him anymore is it ? Regards a Mayweather fight i mean. I think a Bradley rematch is more viable than a Cotto one. All this talk of a rematch at LMW is bull**** IMO, he battered him fair and square and is in no way a 154 fighter.

You're right in saying the Bradley fight was woeful, completely lost interest after round 5 but i just assumed they'd fight again.

To be fair I am not sure if ANY of the choices are up to him. For different reasons.

I just don't see where he can go from here :huh

Marquez IV with balanced judges. His last two fights have been judged badly for opposite reasons so the law of averages suggests we should get a fair decision for this one. It goes without saying that we'll get a good fight.
