TMT is a stable full of frauds (Dirrell) glass jaws (Gamboa) and steroid abusers (Berthoe) Cotto doesn't need to associate with such a company.

floyd promotes himself and always brags how it is great to be his own boss, yet he wants to be the boss of others, strange.

Why is that strange? Some of these guys just want to get in the ring and fight without worrying about all of the details. Others may want to manage the little details themselves.

Promoters are a necessary evil. Some guys can get away with acting as their own promoters and some guys can't. If Cotto can and wants to manage his own career then more power to him. I don't see anything wrong with Mayweather offering him a spot in his promotion. Pacquiao is a major PPV star, but he still relies on Top Rank to promote him. TMT may not be any good, but that's another issue.
