Truth. He would beat Jofre without much troubles, too black and too slick.

No bantamweight in history touches Rigo

Yes even tho he fights at 122lbs...You know..SUPERBANTAMWEIGHT.

    Moron.

I like Rigo by the way, but the likes of Jofre, Olivares, Harada, and Zarate would DESTROY him.

And thats the 118lbers. At 122lbs, Gomez would annahilate him.

He's never fought at Bantam and likely never will, you absolute ******.

Plus in 10 years time people aren't even going to know who Willie Casey, Rico Ramos, Teon Kennedy, or Robert Marroquin are, never mind consider them good wins. Casey is an average domestic level fighter, Kennedy and Marroquin are worse than most gatekeepers and Rico Ramos while talented is poorly schooled. He really needs to step up his quality of opposition if he wants to establish a real legacy. And that's not a criticism, it's the honest truth.

Not to mention, Rigondeaux has a very dangerous opponent right in front of him. Robert Marroquin is not one to take lightly. This fight has upset written all over it.

Rigondeaux better stop Marroquin quick. Otherwise, the longer it goes, the more I like Marroquin's chances. Keep in mind, Marroquin is much younger, and has a 9-year age advantage over Rigondeaux.

A lot of people are really over looking this fight. Rigondeaux better not, or he will be in a lot of trouble.

Sorry Zopi, but I highly disagree with you here. The fighters you mentioned don't even shine Rigo's shoes as amateurs, just because they were great pros you can't simply say that they would destroy him.

The fact is that NO ONE has destroyed Rigo in over 300+ amateur bouts at the absolute highest World amateur Level and even though it's the amateurs it's something to really think about. Rigondeaux was P4P #1 in the amateurs for his entire amateur career that lasted about 10 years and that says much about his skills and accomplishments.

The problem is that no one wants to give Rigo the opportunity to really show what he has. Stars like Don~aire know deep down what's up with Rigo and is terrified of facing him and that speaks for itself! From now on Rigo is only getting better and better and sharper and sharper. I agree with the thread author, Rigo has the potential to be the GOAT of the Super Bantamweights! ;)

Right because in amateur boxing it's a 5 foot round Ring, they use rubber gloves and hit each other with their legs and necks!

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

Amateur and Pro boxing are brothers! :D
