Creaming themselves over him are todays Daily Express in England. Heard of him before i had only sparingly. How highly rate him do you?
Impossible to tell how good he is until he gets into a fight with a live body that can throw back at him and not fall over like a department store mannequin. GBP refuses to let him make that step up, obviously they are trying to hide something. Just ask Harold Sconiers.
I think Breland is doing a good job with him. He looks like he is using his length and athleticism well. It's hard to tell until we see him in with a good heavyweight.
Good offensively, but huge defensive holes and a rotten chin. I can see him as a top 10 guy from time to time, but would need to get lucky to win a belt.
WHy do you say he has a weak chin?? If his chin is no good he wont make it far unless he hires Steward to teach him the art of jab and grab. Wlad has one of the weakest chins I've ever seen and Steward has found a way to hide it. To bad for Wilder there are a lot of other big guys coming up too. Can you imagine someone like Helnius or price landing on his chin. Ofcourse we are not sure about Price's chin yet but I think Helenius has proved he can take a punch.
Eh it's hard to know until hebstepsmup in class, he's been fighting absolute bums so far. It's clear he packs a punch and has been decimating his opponents which is what he should be doing. He seems to be patient as well which is a very good thing. He seems a bit poor on the defensive side of things and if he has a poor chin as Brickhaus says then that's a bad sign. I could see him cracking the top ten at some point but I think their are better prospects.
Hasn't been challenged. Allan Green looked like a world beater when they was feeding him tomato cans. Now he himself is a tomato can to anyone that can take a gloved hand, make a fist and punch. Personally I'd like to see Denotay Wilder vs James Toney next. We all know Toney is past it, but is a much better fighter even now than anyone Wilder has faced. Plus Toney has never been knocked out so it would be impressive if he kept his 100% KO record.
i agree. i see improvement. hes been fighting top sparring so he may be getting better at his trade. i spoke to him on twitter. hes a really cool dude. down to earth, respectful and smart. he knows what hes doing and so does his team. he doesnt have much amateur experience so they ain rushing him. he told me its all part of the plan
I think he can go far. He has good skills and is very strong. He sent a man who weighed in at 251 Lbs flying across the ring in his last bout. Considering that he weighed in at 228¼ for the fight, I think that's very impresive. He needs to start fighting better opoents though.
He's a prospect that is on his way up. He is taking his time, but I believe it is because he has hardly any amateur experience. I've seen improvement in his jab and the way he sets up his punches. He obviously has legit power.
Who gives a ****? He's some obscure black dude who fights ****ing nobodies. He's a non-entity in the division. Come back with this question later...
