Apparently it's already been decided after his first fight. British maybe European tops is the best he can hope for.:patsch
Knee jerk judgements either way make my arse laugh, it's impossible to tell what level he'll get to. He looks to have lots in his favour though and will be interesting to watch develop should he turn pro.

I suppose it's best summed up as Joshua was overrated before the tournament and underrated after the Savon fight.

Joshua can make a good pro. His biggest weakness is slow footwork which isnt as important in pros as it is in amateurs.

Once the K brothers retire, Joshua will be on the road to the top. He'd beat Fury, maybe Price, if he wins the Gold, he will be hyped enough to get some serious earning power, and money talks. He will be a big name and get more than a fair share of shots at the title/Titles

That scoring in the Joshua fight was way too close for my liking.

First fight I was impressed with Joshua. He's really getting into it.

so joshua won a close fight, where imo the first round was very bad scored. but joshua got to dychko late.

    for the pro business

    Pro Joshua:
    physical strong
looks like he has good stamina
    good power
    heart and will
    very good pressure fighter
    nice inside fighting

    Contra Joshua:
    no footwork at all
    bad defense
    looks very basic

    pro dychko:
    ****ing slick
    very fast and elusive
    good power
    very good upper body movement
    great footwork

    contra dychko:
he has to gain weight and become physicaly stronger
looks like he has stamina issues
and imo he broke down mentally in the last round against joshua

i think these two guys will make very good pros. especially dychko if he can keep his speed and gain some muscle weight

joshua looks for me like the new bruno. he has to work on his skills

Joshua just spanked Dychko and made him look like a runner and a *****, yet people are still talkin ****. I'm not saying Joshua is an ATG, but ESB can be a little ridiculous at times.

Steady on! let's not get carried away. His biggest strength is his height and ability to lean away. Does that make him slick? looks a little clumsy to me. Don't get me wrong, he looks a decent fighter, but cmon!! heaping a lot of praise on him and he couldn't maintain his game for 3 rounds. Needs a lot of work. You did mention mentality and fitness i'll give you that, but from what I have seen he's not that slick, but he's rangy and can pull away from a punch well, decent reflexes.

Joshua impressed me, strong, sturdy fighter with good basics. I think he can make it as a pro. I think if this was a pro fight, he would have stopped Ivan in the next round as he was unraveling to those vicious left hooks he was landing in the third. I think his style will translate well in the pro ranks.

Remember, we're not in an era where we are blessed with many skillful heavyweights, a solid tough well drilled fighter with power can do very well against the current crop of heavies. When you saw Audley in the olympics he pitter patted his way through it, Joshua on the other hand has shown some power and good close range fighting skills. Hope he goes on grabs the gold and turns pro. Why waste yourself in the amateur game for another 4 years. Go make some money and a name for yourself Josh!
