Yes, and there's really no difference between figihting a good black fighter and a good white fighter.
And no difference between fighting a black tomato can and a white tomato can.
I'm 100% certain Dempsey knew that.

There's no two ways about it - Jack Dempsey was mortally afraid of Joe Louis.

Having left the set Jack was quoted as saying "I've made a mess of my pants."

To conclude the legendary interview he said that "Wladimir Klitskcho is a good in-fighter."

Funny how you would say that but ignore how that changed when Dempsey stood on ghe right side ... aspect ratio SQ, something you don't understand in film or discussion ...

NIce post ... haven't seen it in a while and thrilled a guy like Burt was able to catch it ... pretty amazing that Dempsey , who had to be well into his 50's at that point showed absolutely no signs of dementia of any sort ... lucky man considering how many fights he had ..

    5. A whole 5 posts before the whole point of the thread, which was to show a nice video of two boxing legends, devolved into another "Dempsey be afraid of da black man!!!1!11!!" shitfest.

And you all wonder why we can't have nice things!

Unless the good white fighters you are facing arent legit heavyweights and arent as good as the one guy you ducked for seven years who just happened to be black.

He, some poster observed that Louis looked 2" taller than Dempsey did in the 1951 clip...But Dempsey in his fifties in this clip shrunk an inch or so, as I or anyone does as we get older...The ravages of age...Cheers...

Especially for a man consumed for the better part of a lifetime by such a singular fear. That kind of obsessive fear tends to prematurely cripple a man.

Everybody wondered who would have won Dempsey v Louis, Dempsey was the best before Louis except for a favourite of mine Johnson who I think could have defeated both.

how biased can you possibly be? the newspaper report clearly stated that dempsey was not even slightly disturbed. Your criticism of dempsey is simply irrational.
