Who was more overhyped, bute or khan

Khan easily, he was claiming to be some elite level fighter who was on the cusp of a mayweather clash, both peteroson+garcia were farwell fights at 140 and he ****ed up both times,

I don't think that counts as being exposed. Everyone knew he had a weak chin. It was hardly a secret.

 

Khan came to america and beat decent opponents and became a champion

Bute stayed in Canada built his record then got destroyed by a great world level champion

:huh are YOU ****ing serious? People rated Bute as the no1 super middleweight in the world and a top p4p fighter for Christ sake , despite the fact he had fought absolutely NOBODY, got his ass handed to him by Andrade and got knocked the **** out embarrassingly by the FIRST top fighter he faced.

Bute has a pretty decent resume, he did get the **** kicked out of him by Froch.. but he dominated Librado for 11 1/2 rounds the 1st fight until getting caught, and he still got up in time and the correct scores were read. He dominated him even worse in the 2nd fight.

So get that Andrade **** out of here.

I guess in your world it's all elite fighters and nothing else.

I'm not even a Bute fan, but damn boxing fans are the ****ing worst.

 

i picked bute because he had a weak ass resume. khan got beat by good fighters that people slept on, shame on them. khan got caught clean and bute get his ass beat down and out.bootay was grossly overrated and i fear still is.

 

What ****ing world is losing to Danny Garcia and Bredis Prescott not worse than losing to Carl Froch?

Not this ****ing world I tell you that.

Prescott is a step above of journeyman at best... his best win outside of Khan is a SD against Richie Abril... he's lost to every other decent fighter he's ever faced.

Don't try and sugar coat that loss.. it was a bad one and is still a bad one. Prescott is NOT a good puncher and not a great fighter.. he's average in just about every single regard.

At least Bute has looked fantastic against some pretty good fighters.. he wasn't fighting ****ing tomato cans that's for damn sure.. and if he was as bad as you guys make him sound he wouldn't have beaten the guys he's beat.

 

It's Khan fosho!!! Khan and it ain't even close!!

Bute lost 1 fight and to Froch, a legit top fighter highly ranked by everyone who is just outside the top 10 p4p. Khan got KO'd by guys unheard of outside of hardcore boxing circles like Danny Garcia who wasn't rated by anyone here in the top 50 p4p, also Prescott and Peterson who fall into the same category but not as good as Garcia.

As far as significance of their biggest wins:

Khan-Bute

Judah= Johnson
Kotelnik= Bika
Maidana= Andrade
Malignaggi= Magee
Salita= Miranda

So not only are their best wins at least equal but it's clear that Khan's lost to 3 lesser fighters than Froch and not only that but he's been KO'd by 2 of them.


It's easily Khan who is the bigger hype job. Especially since he had more hype and backing than Bute since day one and was hyped as future p4p fighter since his first pro fight. Even after the Peterson loss he was being hyped as a future Mayweather opponent!!
