    Ron is really annoying me. Just talk about the fight ron! He misses so much of the action by telling us how this man reached the semi-finals of the world championships, last year, in azerbaijan, at this weight, and how that gave him his seeding, which means he didnt have to fight first.

    Just talk about the fight! Tell us that between rounds! FFS, i like woodhall, he ignores all that and tries to steer ron back on course as he has usually missed a good few combos!

    The fact he has done so much radio work comes across in his commentary & definitely has a face better suited to radio Ron 'bones' McIntosh!:yikes

    I had never heard of a check hook until mayweather landed one on hatton and he said thats what it was. Now apparantly every fighter at the olympics is an expert at landing them. All i ****ing hear check hook etc. The female comentator was especially bad for it. She called every hook a check hook

    I agree, he talks wayyyyyyyyyy to much, and hes to descriptive when he is talking, we are boxing fans, we're not watching for a ****ing lesson in the english language for **** sake!

    He likes to think he's some kind of Master Wordsmith, but most of what he says is just meaningless, verbose rubbish.

    It's like he's trying to make up for the fact that he doesn't know much about boxing.
