I hate any cheater in sport, guys like vargas, roy jones, mosley, holyfield, margarito ruined their legacy imo.
But with Vitali its kind of different, if I remember correctly he took an supplement that would increase the healing of his leg or something and got banned.
Yet as a professional he never tested positive and eventhough I would not be surprised if him or wladimir were roiding, he is innocent until proven guilty as a pro. So I do give him credit for his professional career and performances.

People tend to dislike steroid cheats in general.

Hey im just saying what he said, I dont believe it anymore than roy jones ripped fuel story.
What I meant by different was that I basically judge boxers on their professional careers and while I normally dont give much credit to cheaters I feel you cant threat Vitali the same cause it was before his pro career started and he has not tested positive in these 16 years, therefore why hate on him as if he was roided up recently?

Marion Jones, Shane Mosely & Evander Holyfield have never tested positive, the only time in his career Vitali took OSDT he failed.

There should be a big question mark over his whole career imo, just like the other steroid abusers

Watch the clip from 3:00 to 3:30 and look how horrible Vitali looks. He has no co-ordination at all. Abysmal footwork and sloppy punches.

Vitali has always been drastically overrated. He's just a big guy with a punch and a good chin. Awful technically.

That's what all steroids cheats say to redeem their reputation. They aren't going to come out and say "I cheated to make myself a better fighter", so they come out with excuses like Toney did or like Sonnen did in MMA. It's all bull****.

If a fighter wants to take drugs to heal an injury, there is a procedure for that and it's legal. When a fighter hides their drug use and they only use it as an excuse, it becomes exactly that, an excuse.

Vitali may not have admitted to cheating but he is a drugs cheat, there's no question about that. He deserves to be vilified as much as anyone. I also think it's likely he's used drugs in the past few years to help his knee injuries but given the money they make in Germany, that would never come out.

Yeah but we both know mosley and fields are guilty as hell, again im not saying he is innocent I just dont like people getting discredited while clear proof is missing.
Same when people started calling bhop a roiduser just because he was doing something great at his age annoys me, I would rather give full credit and when caught seriously discredit than diminish a guys accomplishments without solid evidence, im all for improved testing of course, get all the cheats out of the game.

But where would you draw the line for what is acceptable and what isnt, if a guy gets caught roiding as a teen while an amateur is it then really fair to keep using it against him for the rest fo his life even if he doesnt ever fail a drugtest since then?
Or what if a way over the top boxer roids like for example if morales would be caught roiding nowadays, would that tarnish his whole legacy?
What if a guy is in big financial trouble and comes back yet roids to be able to compete for the money he needs?
While I honestly dislike cheaters and dont want to justify it at all I dont feel its so black/white that people can never be redeemed.

Ok so to be clear here.

You call Holyfield cause an UN-NAMED journalist says he answered a phone, the guy wont be named cause he either doesnt exist or doesnt want his lying ass sued.

Yet Vitali who was busted by OLYMPIC TESTING for a steroid is not guilty.

How can u be so stupid ?

and all steroids can be prescribed they are still banned in sports.
