I didn't even bother looking at your location after reading his post, was just responding to the generalization of Nordic black metal.

Yeh that news has really put a downer on my mood. What a shame, he could've been our generations SRR. Unless AIBA pro boxing takes over and becomes the sole pro organization then it's like he's staying amateur in his own little corner.

    Great album either way.

OK, today we've got these finals coming up:

Light fly: Shiming Zou, CHN, vs. Kaeo Pongprayoon, THA
Bantam: John Joe Nevin, IRL vs. Luke Campbell, GBR
Light welter: Roniel Iglesias Sotolongo, CUB vs. Denys Berinchyk, UKR
Middle: Esquiva Falcao Florentino, BRA vs. Ryota Murata, JPN
Heavy: Oleksanr Usyk, UKR vs. Clemente Russo, ITA

Who are your bets? Mine are Zou, Nevin, Sotolongo, Florentino and Usyk.

Gvozdyk's protest was denied. Still can't believe they signed with these AIBA assholes. Worst news ever.

I hate AIBA. This won't be the last time they get screwed over by them.

Anyone heard anything about Petrauskas' "loss" yesterday? Didn't they also file a protest?

Haven't read anything. Who do you like for Val Barker? Mekhontsev, Sapiyev, Ramirez should be top considerations imo but i expect they'll hand it to Joshua disgrace that AIBA is.

I know.... My pick would be Mekhontsev. He's already beaten three top contenders in explosive and action packed fights, where he has showcased technical skills and killer instinct. A perfect combination.

John Joe Nevin could also be a contender.

Anyone think there's an outside chance that with a very strong and dominant final match against Han (quite likely, actually) that Lomachenko could become the first ever 2-time Val Barker? :think

Especially where he's about to be the face of AIBA Pro, wouldn't hurt to have that historic achievement heading into the new venture..
