i cant believe there's people who think mitchell's power will be the difference, even a couple of brit boxing channels think mitchell will ko burns. burns's chin and recovery levels have been proven against world level punchers, mitchell has a good ko record but against bums and euro level oposition. i think this is a case of ricky burns chin proving how hard mitchell really hits. we all know what happend when a world class puncher landed shots on mitchell's chin, he crumpled like a spunk rag! i might get slaughterd for this but i think if anybody's powers going to tell i think its going to be burns, i can see him hurting mitchell to the body alot in this fight, not saying he's going to knock mitchell out but imo he will slow mitchell down with his accurate body shots. burns will probably jab mitchell a pizza face as well. burns wide ud imo
Remember reading from some experienced posters that Burns would go nowhere near Moses...now he has and won comfortably, he's shite all of a sudden.
Burns vs Katsidis was a masterclass of sorts, unless I've got it wrong and he's on about the Moses fight. I thought the way Burns used Katsidis' best attributes against him in parts and disarmed him completely in others was great stuff. The secret to beating Katsidis was well and truly out, but not many expected Burns to win.
mitchell possesses the more talent out of the 2 If you take away his fight with katsidis and judge him on everything else you have to give KM the nod on this one Ive always liked burns do or die attitude and fighting in scotland is a massive advantage. But i still fancy mitchell to do the business at the second time of asking
It was a good performance BB, but masterclass? I don't think so. Whitaker/Ramirez II is a masterclass, Burns didn't exactly shine against Katsidis.
thats 4 and a half towels profit for one is that a typo, are your fingers too fat to type with ?? he was never 9-2 you big liar he was 11-4 biggest.
I think a lot will depend on Mitchell's state of mind but I'm going for a narrow win on points for Burns. Not too bothered who wins tbh, just hope it's a great fight and a great advert for British boxing.
He is better in many departments but not all. Kevin hits harder has faster hands, that said, still think this is a pick em. Burns has really improved since johansen broke him up and we all know Kevin's form can be patchy. I hope to visit Kevin's camp in a week or so, I shall report how different he looks, if at all, to before the kats fight..
