Yes Sir, and his timing was taken away by those who closed the distance, and worked inside. Not at range. Where do you think Pea is more likely to be? He sure as hell won't be in fighting here.
pea, like floyd, and oscar when he was on his toes, dictated fights. i'm a big fan of tszyu but it wasnt fighters who closed the distance who fed a blueprint just because hatton did it. tszyu against pea, floyd or oscar was bad news because they were serious technical masters thats a big thing
Agree to disagree, but timing and accuracy can negate speed- especially when there's power behind it. Of course Whitaker could win, but it's nowhere near as cut and dried as alot of people are making it seem like. It takes a rare combination of offensive skills to even be able to land on Pernell, but Tszyu happens to have them. This wouldn't be a slam dunk fight for either man by any stretch, but I pegged Zoo because I thought he was being sold short.
fair call i'm a big fan of speed because it takes fighters with power out of their zone and doesnt let them settle we gotta agree to disagree
Power isn't key here, accuracy is. Note that I've not said Kostya would win, I'm merely arguing that he'd be competitive.
i'm a power fighter myself but i'm disagreeing with you here tszyu was like tito when he could range find and zone in but i'm saying great fighters take that away
I say Whitaker by ud. The problem I got with Tszyu is that although his power and timing looked good against guys like Ruelas, Rodriguez, and Tackie. He never got in with the Mosley, Dlh, Whitaker, Camacho,Mayweather level fighters therefore I can't know for sure how he would have faired. Based on that I can't give him a pass and assume he even belonged with that level of fighters.
Pea Whitaker would take zoo apart and wouldn't lose a round. Find a new sport to watch Dumbass boxing isn't for you.
