Judges' score: 5-3 to Campbell.

 

Campbell is a great fighter , much better than that spoiler Nevin . Peace .

 

About right. Campbell did well early, but Nevin was coming on a bit at the end.

 

Nevin is looking nothing like he has in previous fights. He dominated and clowned the Cuban but he's looking like a stiff with no head movement in this one.

 

Round 2

Campbell slaps out around the guard with a right hook. Another. Chopping 1-2 to the face by Campbell stepping back as Nevin comes lunging in for a rally. Nevin circles to his left and looks for an opening. Campbell stretches out his right jab to deter him. Clinch. Nevin dives in with a right to the body but Campbell is able to scoot back out of the way and also dodge a follow-up left hook to the head. Right to the chest by Nevin on the inside. Campbell reaches out with a jab between the elbows. Campbell takes a short leap inside to clinch. Big powerful combo by Nevin, missing wildly. Campbell is running out of room, near the ropes, opens up and misses a left hand as Nevin gets a straight right counter in. Left uppercut to the body by Campbell backing up after they slap each other's lead fists out of the way at close range. Right jab leaping in by Campbell, and a hook off the jab misses. Nevin lands a right hand.

I have to say this a great fight

This is turning into quite a good scrap.

Round 3

Nevin lands a left hook to the body. Campbell has a wardrobe malfunction. Nevin steps in and scores a right hand as Campbell slaps at his neck with his right and left, wrist shots. Nevin rushes in and gets DROPPED by a well timed left hand!! Nevin gets back up and starts popping the jab on the way in, drumming it off Campbell's guard. They both miss a few shots en route to a clinch which the ref breaks and cautions Campbell for. 1-2 by Campbell, and Nevin leaps back out of the way. Campbell backs up and tries to line up a left to the body but Nevin is atop him, and they hold. Neither can land cleanly to the body on the inside. Campbell lands a 1-2 backing up. I've got it three three with half a minute left. Straight left lead by Campbell noses him out in front. Nevin comes in and claps at the guard and tries to work underneath the elbows but can't reach the body. Long right hand by Nevin chasing, missing.

IB's score: 4-3 and 13-10 to Campbell.

Cambell probably won in a close one.
