Yes Bute lost embarrasingly and also to the clear best fighter he ever faced but it was Froch's night and he was the better man. For what it's worth i still see him being competitive with Ward(styles make fights and Ward is no hitter and won't rush Bute). He still can come back from this and I hope he does to shut people up. Discrediting him only discredits Froch's win over him dummies!

Not surprised many prospects don't wanna step up because of **** like this. I don't support them doing that but it is what it is.

 

Abraham in his prime was better than Bika, right now probably not. But he was never better than Bute and I am his fan.

You definetely know in Sweden. If you would know you would be objective. Bute is a big talent but he met a Predator.

 

I've got a serious question for Bute's fans. I've seen a couple of his fights, but is it just me or he completely felt in love with that left hand? Because it seems to me that his jab is nothing special necessary and he just waiting to fire that left hand?

 

Earlier in his career Bute's coach ask him to stop throwing or over use the left hand because opponents would only look for that ( just look at the Tatevosyan fight were Bute throw very little left ) and you rarely see him throw his left in early round to surprise his opponent later on. I think he imporve his right hand meanwhile (jab and right hook) but theres still work to do.

But you're right , as soon as Bute get hit or his in trouble you can see him get back to his old style.

 

I'm not going to vote on this thread, but Bute is overrated. People have been telling me that this guy boxes better than Ward. Really? I've seen a lot of Bute's fights. And there was nothing that I saw that would tell me that he's a better boxer than Ward.

Part of being a good boxer is knowing how to deal with people THROWING PUNCHES AT YOU. Ward obviously knows how to deal with that better than Bute does.

I know this may be hard for people to understand, but just because Bute can mimick a slick style doesn't mean he actually knows what he's doing. Same thing with Broner. Just because he can mimick Mayweather's style doesn't mean he understands boxing on Mayweather's level.

 

Butey a clap job but he seems to be a fairly decent human and a nice guy.

If he was unable to hurt Frochy , what makes his fans think he will in the rematch? There is no dobt in Froch's mind as to what he has to do 2d time around and if anything its going to be easier for him. He could probably eat his punches and steamroll him in round one if he wanted to.

Yea he was hyped abit, but more due to popularity. And Froch was thought of as past it and Bute's first real test. If anything Froch was underrated because Bute hyped or not has a wicked bodyshot and good power. Aside from hollywood good looks and star appeal that made him look like a man oozing in confidence it was hard to root against him. But like I've always said to be the best you've got to beat the best I could give 2 shits about 80 title defenses.
