Anyone else thinking that was a weak stoppage. I think the guy in that sort of position so be working to hit more than just glove to get the stoppage in my opinion. He clearly wasnt getting hurt.
Is it just me, or that stoppage was shallow? I know Okami has a dominant position, and was raining punches, and the other guy ain't fighting back. But 90% of the punches landed on the arm (blocked).
He wasn't really trying to get out of there either... ! At least Okami took it to the ground when he was getting beat up on the feet !
BINGO! It's not like he got dropped, or ate a big shot on the ground then turtles up. Kod by glove pounding is bull****
Bit average. Fair stoppage though, the guy was completely immobile, just a pity Okami didn't look to open him up for more damage.
Just getting the win will give him his confidence back, but I agree Okami didn't look great, especially standing.
But can you honestly say he wasnt fit to continue to the third round? Who knows what would happens then
I was tempted to pick Ed by kod in this one, Im something like 1-5 in picks for the night...I ****ing HOPE Jake can get it to the mat
Wasn't there like 2 minutes left in the round? You can't let a guy lay there for totally still for 2 minutes with an Okami on his back, gloves blocking or otherwise. It was a weak win, and a pretty weak stoppage, but it was justified.
Score it a 10-8 then, whatever. Stoppage means you are not fit to continue, not you are stuck in a defensive position but taking little damage. It was not a stoppage at all imo. Anyway...
Is this really the guy who has a win over the next challenger at 205 who knocked out Fedor and held the Pride welter and middle titles?
