A great number of boxing fans have now gone mad to accuse this or that fighter to use PEDs. I totally blame the Mayweather family for raising this issue to the public and medias a few years ago inspite of having no evidences to support their accusation.

Now you can see serious consequences as many big name fighters are suspected of using those substances to increase their stamina such as Chavez Jr., Martinez, Hopkins, Pacquiao, Floyd Jr. himself, and will be a lot more in the future. Only they did something extroadinary or not as normal as they did before, these people would think automatically that they were on something.

This is bad for boxing. I told you!

Maybe it's time to impose the OSDT in boxing now. I don't know.

    Any comment or idea?

    A mandatory testing to everyone.

It's either you do it or not at all.

We can't have it both ways.

Anyways, the issue Gabe Montoya raised drew fire a month back.

How is it bad for boxing exactly? There's a better than 50/50 chance most of those guys have used PED's...so I'm not sure why awareness and the push for more comprehensive testing would be negative?

no porn is definitely taking its toll on you. go watch some porn then go back to this thread. maybe then you'd find the need to delete it. osdt is great for any sport. cheating should never be tolerated at any level.

If you have nothing to hide take the test.. So many fighters are... Even ex roid users like mosley were very happy to show he is now a clean fighter..

if just about everyone is getting accused then thats great... They get the respect they deserve when they take the test an come back clean?

All fighters aretaking ODST now arent they? I can only think of 2 guys avoiding testing chavez jr and pacquiao

Chavez jr i think is blatently cheating... He wont even give a **** sample, he should be stripped of his belt

I feel it has detracted from boxing rather than add to it ... people using it as an excuse now to duck or to downgrade people's achievements more so than to genuinely want to clean up the sport.

Not saying that more testing is bad, I'm all for it. But atm its not mandatory and people are using it for the wrong reasons, accusing this and that of PED use with no proof...ridiculous.

  10. If you think that PED usage is not rampant in boxing then you're living in cloud cuckoo land.

In terms of accusing any fighter for using PEDs with no evidences or clues which may result in firing a lawsuit like the Mayweather/Pacquiao case.

I am not saying that the OSDT is not good since it's the only way to solve this problem and I support the idea of requiring this kind of test in boxing.

The only thing that annoys me is many people accused fighters for using PEDS without evidences.

  12. It's not the only way to solve this problem. OSDT doesn't even cover some forms of cheating such as stem cell injections. There are many other ways of cheating the tests.

The sport needs random testing 365 days a year.

Clear your name and take the test.

If you deny extra testing for any reason...I think you do put doubts in some fans mind.

C'mon Brown! I didn't say that ODST is not a good idea. On the contrary, I support it as same as you and others.

As I said above, I just don't like it when people accuse fighters for using PEDs but they have no evidences to prove. There are several reasons for doing so such as you hate them because they beat your favorite fighters or they keep ducking tough fighters . Something like that. Do you think that it's good to accuse someone to do something but you have no clue or evidence to support your accusation?
