I had Edgar winning 2,4, and 5. Please tell me I'm wrong. I don't want to start thinking the same of MMA that I do of boxing.

I thought that Edgar won and that those Fightmetric stats were a steaming pile of ****.

That being said. I'm actually glad that he lost. He should fight at Featherweight where he'll actually be able to finish. I think that the guy is a cancer at the top of the Lightweight division. Most of his fights are extended spoil fests.

    rbr?

    Round By Round?

Did you score 2,4, and 5 for Frankie? You could even make an argument for a 10-8 in the 2nd.

Discussion/round by round thread I gave the third to FE and the fourth to bendo, may change when I rewatch it. First impressions Frankie won a close fight

Uhhhhhhhhh......no. He won the round, but that wasn't even close to 10-8. Henderson was dropped, but it was because he was off balance.

    Edgar 3-2.

There were no 10-8 rounds. That's just absurd. Come on now.

I kind of agree, but I hate to see undeserved losses. Frankie has no chance against Aldo. We've already seen him beat down better wrestlers. Frankie is obviously much better at mixing his strikes and takedowns than anyone else ALdo has faced, but I don't feel we would see a much different outcome.

    round by round

The thread may or may not have that name, but that is the normal name for the thread in which the fights of that time are being discussed.

He hurt Bendo in the second, I scored it 10-9 because Bendo fought back later in the round, but any round a fighter gets hurt, there is an argument.

My bad, I don't post here that often. Usually over on Sherdog.

The quote I responded to was simply "rbr?"

I thought you didn't know what rbr meant. I didn't know you had more to add.

Close fight, for sure, but the scoring seemed pretty clear: 3-2 Edgar. He should be fighting at 145 pounds, and still, he only lost and now failed to regain the 155 title by a centimeter (and poor judging).
