Aldo looked the worst that I have ever seen him against Hominick, and that was still a very clear victory for him. That was obviously an awful cut, and I can only assume that he has gotten that under control. If he hasn't he should move up to 155. That would be interesting. I would like to see Edgar drop to 145 and face Mendes before getting an immediate title shot. It's a winnable fight against a top name in the division, but still a fairly solid test.
3-2 Edgar 2 4 and 5 clearly for Frankie 3 could have gone either way 1 Bendo Judges most of the time unfortunately just do not appreciate fighters who are fighting backwards and counterpunch
I thought Edgar won but it wasn't dominant so him leaving another close fight in the judges hands isn't surprising. Neither guy was going for the win but tried not to lose, the fight as a whole Edgar won but the judges managed to give Henderson 3 rounds that were basically ties. I like Edgar but he should know he has to do more then "think" he is winning rounds and actually go out and win them. Henderson wasn't impressive at all besides landing a few leg kicks.
As Rogan pointed out the hands to the ground. Bugged me to see it from Bendo so much. Nothing wrong with it, just thought he was a different type of fighter.
This is pretty much how I scored it. The only clear rounds were the first 2. 3 was a straight up draw. 4 and 5 were close, but I edged them both for Frankie
i gave edgar rounds 2,3,4,5. I think it was round 3 was close could have gone either way but i still gave it to frankie. Frankie won the fight. he got robbed
yea, i was a bit intoxicated by the time i wrote that. round 3 was a draw nothing significant at all happened it was just a matter of who the judges "gave" it to.
