Style make fights ! Don't forget to explain your choice !

    Here's the list :

    Ward
    Kessler
    Abraham
    Pavlik
    Dirrell
    Stieglitz

    Dawson
    Pascal
    Hopkins
    Cloud
    Shumenov
    Cleverly

I didn't add Froch because we all know what happened but I look forward for the rematch, hoping that Bute will avenge his loss ! :yep:cool:

I'd be most intrigued for Bute-Pascal. I'm not sure it's the most fan friendly fight of the group but being that it would be a huge fight in Canada I'm sure the atmosphere would be great and it's an interesting matchup of styles.

Pascal is an aggressor who puts lots of pressure and besides that he hits hard. I saw that he has good explosiveness. In terms of money and audience would be huge in Canada but not a great match up in terms of styles.

I don't know why but I think Bute would give troubles, maybe have good chances for a win against Ward at 168 and against Dawson at 175.

    Huh?

Since when is Pascal an aggressor who applies a lot of pressure? He was pressured himself by a 68 year old Bernard Hopkins.

Pascal showed against Dawson that he can be effective against a southpaw using his "ambush" fighting style and Bute was constantly being tagged by a slow Froch who would leap in with punches. However, Bute can be dangerous with counter punches and we saw Pascal frozen by a Dawson uppercut coming in.

Like I said, there probably are more fan friendly/action packed fights on the list but I find fights that are a little more tactical to also be entertaining, especially when you got two punchers involved knowing that a big punch could change things at any moment.

style make fights bro , Ward and Dawson aren't big punchers in their divisions.
Maybe against Ward, Bute would get own due Ward's inside skills but against Dawson at 175, Bute would do a very competitive fight:yep

Unlike a lot of people i wont completely sleep on Bute and i think he has a fair chance of bouncing back. Styles makes fights and the Froch incident could be a great example in a few years time if Bute does indeed bounce back. For the record i think Bute has to move upto 175lbs, he has to drain a fair amount to make weight which eventually catches up with the vast majority of fighters.

    Ward - Ward close UD
Kessler - 50/50 not sure if Mikkel has enough to land the punches he needs. For the moment i take Kessler by KO, providing his accuracy holds up over the course of the fight.
Abraham Bute KO, obviously an outside chance AA lands something big that ends it. Chances are however that Bute stops him mid rounds after putting in the bodywork against the slow, cumbersome, inactive AA.
Pavlik - Bute KO, what more is their to say. Pavlik could last a little while to his durabilty...
Dirrell - Andre - Bute UD, Anthony - Anthony KO
Stieglitz - Bute KO, different class.

Dawson - Dawson UD, very tough matchup for Bute
    Pascal - Pascal KO
    Hopkins - Bute UD
    Cloud - Cloud KO
    Shumenov - Bute KO
    Cleverly - Bute KO
