The statement that "most boxing experts think it's impossible" that Vitali loses is just a blatant lie. I'd be just as well saying "most boxing experts think Vitali would lose to any great Heavyweight from the past."

Vitali does have a solid chin. I certainly wouldn't rank it in the top 5 ever but it's very solid nontheless.

I've said it before but Vitali is a handful for any Heavyweight who's ever lived. That's not the same as being unbeatable though.

He doesn't take many on his chin anyway, too busy dishing it out.

Yeah, you have to bear this in mind. Vitali uses his size and reach advantages very well. He's also very adept at judging distance - most of the time, his opponents punches fall a little short while he's in a position to counter.

When he does catch something he has the chin to handle it. Not the best ever but very good.

    Lewis rematched both and won.

Vitali never rematched Chris Byrd. A Heavyweight with less punching power makes him quit.

his chin is solid. rock solid? no one knows. how many wars has he been in? 1.
its not his fault midgets like adamek, solis, juan carlos gomez cant crack an egg. guys that could have hurt him or capable of it such as arreola, sanders, peter, briggs, johnson, williams, chisora... couldnt land anything over a course of 8,9,10, 12 rounds....they were in retreat trying to not get punched in the head by the 6 foot 8 heavyweight...he seemed to dwarf even big guys.... so its hard to say ...a guy like holyfield took more solid flush, harder punches by bert cooper in 1 fight than vitali has his whole career... its called boxing, not whos the toughest
