So has anyone seen the results of the countback. On BBC they said the score came back even greater for AJ. Yet i can't find them anywhere. Not even on the official Olympic site.

Anyone been able to find them?

Ring announcer 'we have two super-heavyweight legends in the house, Lennox Lewis and Audley Harrison'. No mention of Wlad being there

Didn't Wlad win Gold as a Heavyweight not Super Heavyweight? :huh

And who on earth would celebrate a joke like Audley Harrison? Just goes to show you how awful Olympic Boxing is if that Glass Jawed joke can win a Gold :rofl:patsch

True, I forgot Wlad was HW and Vitali was SHW (before he was kicked out). Still, would have been nice to mention Wlad.

The scoring was a bit biased against Joshua, who won both the first two rounds on any sensible scorecard, but overall a great win nonetheless. Winning gold after less than 4 years as a boxer is not exactly easy.

He needs a lot more experience and better ring-generalship before he can go anywhere special in the pros, though.

Not like the English lapping up another imported hero to go with Mohammed Farah.

When was the last Native American gold medalist?

Apart from somewhere in darkest Africa (yes racist) we're all "imports" to our respective nations.
