Probably not most peoples choice but my pool to go from is limited due to only becoming interested in boxing in past few years so couldnt tap into the names other people could name.
Talent wise - Herol Graham. ****ed it up for himself against Jackson, got too trigger happy when he didn't have too and if Jackson connects it's good night Vienna, as he found out.
Herol Graham for me, but you could have Jones, Laing or Watson or even Sibson, Sammy Reeson would be a Cruiserweight champion IMO but came at a time when champions were really that!. Notable mentions would go to Billy Schwer who would of won a world title in this era IMO, Michael Brodie as well. There's plenty really who could of, should of won titles but i'd go for Graham i mean the Brewer fight broke my heart the Jackson bout was a bit before my time. He was so bloody close, all you have to do is stay away Herol. Gutted for him really was and still am. I remember his path to that IBF title fight, his comeback fight my dad said something like ''now watch this guy, one of the finest boxers i've ever seen. Like a Eel you just can't get to grips with him''.
Michael Watson and Herol Graham will no doubt dominate here but imo Kirkland Laing, he was a great talent but the main reason i pick him is because Graham and Watson both had 3 clear cut chances each to win a world title but lost them all, wheras ar Kirkland never got one shot.
Yeah, because he was horrifically inconsistent and his chin wasn't all that. He's a cliched pick and an undeserving one IMO.
