Not who you thought deserved to win or anything like that, what fighter do you feel will transition to the pro ranks the best and have the best professional career? Did any fighters stand out to you and make you think "This guy is gonna be one hell of a pro" and who's skill-set stood out to you the most overall? What fighter do you think had the best combination of athleticism and skill-set? And lastly, what fighter that did extremely well in the olympics (at least a medalist) and is for certain going pro do you feel won't make the transition easily and underwhelm given their expectations?

I think Marcus Browne and Errol Spence have bright futures in the pros, as do some of the eastern euro's/central asians.

I heard a lot of hype surrounding Lomachenko going into the olympics and thought he may have been overrated, but after seeing him in these olympics I gotta say I was really impressed and have to agree with a lot of the hype. The kid looked legit.

I guess the fighter that I was most impressed with was Serik Sapiyev, the Val Barker Trophy winner. I heard he is going pro (though may be wrong) and think he will make an excellent pro but if I'm not mistaken he is already 27 years old and needs to get crackin' pretty quickly in the pros.

Joshua underwhelmed me the most out of all the gold medalists, mainly because I thought he had two losses out of three fights, but credit to him, he went out there and gave it everything with a whole heap of pressure on his shoulders. Many posters kept on commenting during IB's Olympic thread that his style is more suited for professional boxing however, and that feeling didn't really resonate all that well with me. Most olympic gold medalists show a specific skill-set and amount of athleticism that make them highly regarded prospects, but I just don't see that with Joshua, and I feel he will have the most underwhelming career out of all the olympic medalists.

On the other hand I really hope Savon defects and turns pro somewhere - I think he can be a very exciting pro.

So, what do you ***gits think?

Dychko got the tools but came off "Okay", I have a feeling we'll see him soon.

Even though he lost first round all three Olympics, I'm still hoping Raushee ****** has a good pro career.

Also the obvious lomachenko. Hopefully he only signed with AIBA for a year cause I have no desire to see him in a third Olympics. Win gold once awesome, win gold twice fantastic, win gold three times you should of been fighting pro imo.

What did you see in Dychko that makes you feel he will be a good pro?

I agree he has some very good tools, but was unimpressed after seeing him fight.

Valdez looked pretty good to me. But I haven't seen enough to make a proper guess and answer the question.

Yea, I have a lot of hope for Raushee too, but I just get the feeling he won't amount to much.........He just doesn't seem like a "gamer" to me if that makes any sense.

From what I understand, Lomachenko signed with AIBA for them to be his professional promoters - meaning he will be fighting in the pro ranks while AIBA will be promoting his professional fights. I don't think he will be competing in that world series of boxing format, nor do I think his fellow teammates like Usyk will be either. I think Loma and Usyk have a lot of promise coming out of these games.

Yeah I understand hopefully he was just lacking confidence and he's not mentally handicapped like Ortiz.

Okay, I thought he was going to do that semi pro **** which I felt was a stupid decision. Hope to see him fighting some top guys here in America soon.

Ramires looked awesome, but he is an 18 year old Cuban, if he turns pro it will probably be after about 2 more Olympics. :-(

If the way the AIBA runs the amatuers is any indication, they will ruin any pro careers of all those who've signed with them.

I look for big things from the brits and the irish. God Save the Queen and Erin Go Braghless!
